My husband and son both bought trucks from them. They both had excellent experiences. So I decided it was time for a new car as well. I purchased a Mitsubishi Outlander from Poulin in March. Jason was a great sales rep. He did not pressure me at all. Doing the financing with Mike was easy. They got me a great APR on the loan. When finalizing things we discovered the car didn't have a remote start. I was super disappointed. They knew this was a feature I really wanted. They went above and beyond and agreed to put one in for me. When I drove off the lot the collision control malfunction lights came on. I brought it right back to them. Jason had the mechanics look at it and deemed it safe to drive. They agreed to fix it. I was able to drive it a couple days before I had to bring it back for the work. In that time I discovered several other issues such as one back door didnt work, there was an extreme flutter in the hood, the brakes felt funny. Most of all there was a severe sway in the rear end! It was too the point I was scared to drive it! When I dropped it off I notified them of all my concerns. They were very receptive. They did the remote start as promised and sent it to the Mitsubishi dealership for the other issues since it was under warranty. Once I picked it up 20 minutes later the same malfunction lights came back on, the brakes and sway in the rear end were the same! I called and voiced my concerns . Once again I returned it to them for the same issues. They checked my brakes and discovered an issue with a caliper. Poulin fixed them and sent it back to the Mitsubishi dealership for the other issues. I was frustrated and angry about it. I mean who wants to buy a car and not be able to drive it! I had called and emailed Stephanie from Poulin several times. She did the best she could to keep me updated on the repair process. This time I was without my car for a month! I finally got my car back. The brake issue that Poulin dealt with was resolved. However the very next day the malfunction lights came back on and the severe sway was still there. I was beyond frustrated at this point! Mitsubishi was saying there were no issues with the malfunction on the collision control and they changed the shocks so there was no issue with the rear end that was causing the sway I was concerned about. For the 3rd time I contacted Poulin. Mike called me immediately. They knew how upset I was about my whole experience. He understood my concerns and frustration. At this point he offered to do a swap out. He did some research and found that all the issues I was having were a common problem with the Mitsubishi Outlanders. They felt bad that I was having all these issues. I had owned the car 56 days. I only physically had it in my possession 13 of those days! He had another car he thought I might like and asked if I wanted to come take it for a couple days and see if it was something I was interested in. If I wasn't he would find another one. He wanted me to be happy with my purchase. I picked up a 2021 Volvo XC60. I loved it! It still needed to have a few things done and get inspected. They arranged having it picked up from my work and delivered a loaner. The next day they had my new car ready. The transition was smooth. I had the same great APR even. They gave me above trade value on the Mitsubishi so that my payments stayed pretty much the same. Despite the fact that ALL the issues with it were not in anyway their fault they made it right! They went ABOVE AND BEYOND! No other dealership would have done this. With all this being said I would NEVER buy another Mitsubishi. However, I would definitely buy from Poulin again. These guys are awesome. They stand by what they sell.

Had an excellent experience purchasing a new (to me) vehicle at Poulin Auto. I came in with an idea of the vehicle style and price range I wanted and sales rep Mike did a great job helping me find a quality vehicle that fit what I wanted. He did a great job walking me through all the steps of financing, registration paperwork, even got me some trade-in value for my very tired old Subaru. Last but not least, we discovered a minor engine issue during the test drive (O2 sensor) and Mike arranged to have the part replaced for free within 4 days of purchase. Car has been running great since then with no issues. Plenty of lots have cars on them, but I feel that the honest and respectful service I got at Poulin is harder to come by and counts for a lot.

Hands down the BEST service department in the area. In the past, they went to bat for me with my extended warranty company when I did not even buy my car from them. They've always gone above and beyond. This time around, my car broke down at 7pm on Wednesday night. Ball joint/control arm/CV gave out while on the road. I had my car towed to Poulin's after hours and just left a voicemail with my information. Less than 48 hours my car is fixed and safe to transport my kiddos again. Todd Mobley was an absolute pleasure to do business with. John from the service department put in the work to get me back on the road ASAP, even when more repairs were found to be needed. Having your car break down is a nightmare, but these folks worked diligently to get my car repaired at a reasonable price. It's a nice feeling to drive away feeling confident that your vehicle is safe and you weren't taken advantage of. Thanks guys!

Drove from N. Bennington to purchase a vehicle and it was worth the trip. Poulins Auto in Barre City is a great place to do business. I found all staff very friendly, honest, and down to earth. I worked with Jay (sales resp) he took the time to look out for my best interest. I will repurchase my next vehicle here and I strongely recommemd anyone in the maket to give them a look.

I’d give a 1000 stars right now if I could!!! I bought my Subaru Outback almost a year and half ago and no issues. Stacy and Stephanie took care of me!! Monday as I’m dealing with my daughter in the er for psych my car started to make a funny noise. Tuesday it was much louder so I stopped in to see if they could look at it. My wheel baring and ball joint needed repairing. Thankfully the warranty covered it all. So amazed how fast they had it repaired!!! Less then 24 hours!!!

Super friendly, love the service, super helpful and finding us a car when nobody else wanted to help us and they were willing to work with us. It was great I would definitely recommend them. Mike went above and beyond.
